The Convention Center, located within
the Empire State Plaza complex, is a unique multi-purpose venue for conferences,
conventions, meetings, receptions, graduations, proms, trade and consumer shows,
special events, entertainment, and meal functions. The flexible design of the
various spaces makes it an ideal location for events of every size and type.
The facility consists of the Convention Hall, seven meeting rooms, adjacent
pre-function space, a quarter-mile long concourse and galleries. The Observation
Deck atop the Corning Tower is available for booking through the Convention
Center Administrative Office. It commands a stellar view of Albany's skyline,
the Hudson River, and mountains in all directions.
The Empire State Plaza Convention Center is owned by the State of New York and
is operated by the New York State Office of General Services.
